His Story

His Roots

Alfred Donald Knez was born on 1st September 1966, the son of Zvonko and Joyce Knez. He grew up surrounded by a large and loving whānau, and carried that warmth with him throughout his life.


The Man He Was

Alfred was known for his generous spirit, his infectious laugh, and his deep love for his family. Whether at a gathering, a celebration, or simply spending time at home, he had a gift for making everyone around him feel seen and valued.


His Legacy

He is survived by his children, his mother Joyce, his sisters Rina and Tanya, and a wide circle of whānau and friends who each carry a piece of him with them. His presence at family gatherings will never be forgotten — and his memory will live on in the stories we keep telling.
